  Lead is of special interest to me especially for its dull and gloomy aspect which contrasts with the fierce light of the sun.

The final purpose is to create a print and to convey the feeling of a fierce sun blaze received eight in one’s face, the photos can only be taken in summer, during a hot hour;

The technical hurdles derive from the face to face concept. In the history of painting, the very illuminated pictures display a sideways lighting which emphasizes shadows and contrasts. Here conversely, the sun’s lighting being frontward, the shadows are much downgraded.

The prints are overexposed on purpose.
